Arsenal have tabled a €70m (£60m) bid for Leeds winger Raphinha, according to Mundo Deportivo journalist Gabriel Sans.
The Spanish reporter initially only revealed the details of the offer, €55m (£47m) plus €15m (£13m) in add-ons, without naming the club that submitted it, but he then followed up the tweet by confirming it was made by the Gunners:
Es del Arsenal?

It is believed that Arsenal’s initial proposal for Raphinha fell way short of Leeds’ asking price so whether this is a follow-up bid, we shall have to wait and see.
While a number of journalists have suggested the London club would return with an improved offer, Sans seems to be the only one reporting that Arsenal have upped the stakes.
Other teams, such as Chelsea, Tottenham and Barcelona are also said to be keen on signing Raphinha, but Leeds are thought to be holding out for at least £65m, which suggests the Gunners won’t succeed even if these reports of another bid are true.
