NJPW announced on Thursday Tomohiro Ishii has been pulled from this Sunday’s AEW x Forbidden Door pay-per-view after suffering a knee injury.
Ishii had been scheduled to be in the AEW All-Atlantic Championship Match, that will also feature PAC, Miro, and Malakai Black. Ishii will be replaced by Clark Connors.
This past Tuesday, Ishii defeated Connors in a tournament final match at the New Japan Road event in Tokyo to determine NJPW’s representative in the All-Atlantic Title Match.
