Tai Tuivasa has shared a screenshot of the direct message exchange he had with Jon Jones before the former UFC light-heavyweight champion blocked him on Instagram.
The Aussie heavyweight is currently riding a five-fight win streak ahead of his fight with former title challenger Ciryl Gane on September 3 at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
‘Bam Bam’ has previously expressed an interest in fighting the man he considers to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time who is expected to make his heavyweight debut later this year.
If that fight does happen, the 29-year-old will get to find out why Jones blocked him on social media after a friendly conversation about partying turned sour.
“You sound off ya head. I’d out party ya too I reckon. Just sayin but yeah Mary had a lil lamb too and I smoked her whatever whatever bra when you come back I’ll still be around you want a warm up lamb roast I’ll be waiting,” Tuivasa wrote in an long winded call out of Jones.
“Good luck with your beer company,” Jones replied in an obvious attempt to end the conversation but Tuivasa didn’t take then hint.
He responded: “Cheers I’ll send you some.
“I don’t need it, you keep it. Lol Stop writing,” Jones added.
